Now, although most of you make the most flattering comments on my pictures and videos, I'm very conscious that I really don't pass at all if I present myself physically. On a webcam chat, specially with someone that doesn't know me very well, and even taking into consideration the bad lighting which makes identification harder, about half the people will spot me immediately as not being a genetic female (most will not believe me when I tell them I didn't do any surgery and I'm not taking hormones; but they will still realise I've not been born female). The others will probably get confused due to poor lighting and bad connections which give them a less-than-perfect image; even my videos and photos are often not high-quality enough, allowing me to disguise my male-ness for a while. But in plain daylight and in physical presence nobody would be fooled.

Say what you want but to to me you are very special.

Sandra be your self. I live in a country where I don't have such liberties.
You ARE A BEAUTIFUL PERSON!!!

Wow, what a dissertation on the ins and outs of everything related to our hobby. I commend you on your research and your thought process. Oh, and by the way - I feel sooo privelaged to have been mentioned in your article, meooowww. I agree with you that what turns me on is the presentation of myself as female, and you know what you and I share in terms of "turn ons"!!!!!! I promise to write more later when I have time. I totally consider you female - don't ever think anything other even though I know you have some extra special attributes. It's the mind that dictates most of it anyway - our perception, our response, our arousal. I have told you before, there is something special about you that just makes me crave you, the same as you said, more and more with each passing vid. You continue to perfect yourself, improve etc.

For further reading, I recommend this scientific article, which concludes that there are very strong physical causes for transsexualism and gender identity disorder: http://www.gires.org.uk/Web_Page_Assets/Atypical_...

While obviously scientific research is always evolving, and many of the conclusions presented in this paper might in the future be revised, it seems to be at least clear that physical causes (genetics, embryology) are at least responsible for the potential of transsexualism/gender disorder to develop further. Whether the individual will exhibit any signs of transsexualism/gender disorder or not, as well as the level/intensity of discomfort about their gender, will depend on other environmental and social aspects. This might mean that all of us crossdressers have some sort of physical issue which makes us identify, at least sometimes, with the opposite gender; the level of discomfort might just be less severe or more acute depending on a lot of other factors; and some of us might never even feel the urge to dress or to behave like women, even though we have it as a fantasy which we'll never fulfill. Others, by contrast, feel the gender disphoria so intensely that surgery and hormonal therapy is the only choice.

The good news for the political advocates is to realise that all sorts of gender identity issues cannot be suitable labelled as merely a pathology (i.e. a disease) that can be "cured"; and, as such, discrimination against gender disphoric individuals is protected under the law. How long it takes for the civil society to pick that up and accept that crossdressers go to work sometimes dressed as male, sometimes as female, is naturally open to speculation :)
